Gone (#YA106)
Will has lost his laptop gambling against upperclassmen Ryder (guest star Charles Hunman), while Bella needs to retrieve a letter that was in her jacket. Accompanied by Scout, these two set off in a stolen car owned by Ryder to get these things back. While driving, they have to sweet-talk a cop and get more gas. Luckily, Ryder never suspects these three in the ones who stole his car, but instead suspects a local bookie whom he owes money too.
Eventually, the three get back the letter and the laptop, and Ryder shows gratitude in letting them use his car one last time.
On the other side, Hamilton and Jake go on their first date. Trouble brews when they insult eachother, with Hamilton being the old-fashioned (macho) guy and Jake being herself. They apologize and Hamilton tells Jake that he loves her.

Free Will (#YA107)
Will is accepted to become a tutor, and he finds out his tutoree is Caroline Busse, his love interest from "Cinderbella." He is payed by Ryder to write a poem, which eventually is given to Caroline from Ryder. When Will tells Caroline that Ryder is bad, she doesn't believe him but later finds out Will was right all along when she finds Ryder & Will in a fight that Ryder is just using Caroline.
Meanwhile, Bella receives a birthday present from her mom. She is angered by it. Scout wants to find her mother, and tells Bella so, to which Bella responds that this is her problem and not Scouts. Bella also finds out that Jake is a girl.
Rumors fly on campus about Jake's and Hamilton's relationship. People bet on them being gay, supported by Ryder, Will, and Scout. Jake threatens Hamilton that she is going to leave so that Hamilton's reputation will be saved, and that she will tell everyone that she is actually a girl. Hamilton says no, he'll miss her the most.

Will Bella Scout Her Mom? (#YA108)
The season finale. Bella finds out that the gas station is to be auctioned off so she goes off to Carson to find her mom. On the ride there, Bella's truck is totaled when she swerves to avoid a deer forcing Bella, Jake, Hamilton, and Will to spend the night in a cabin. Upon arrival at her mother's house, Bella finds out that it is her own mom who is auctioning their home off.
Hamilton convinces Jake to take a shower with him. And Finn walks in. Mortified, Jake runs off to Bella and embarks on the journey with Bella to find her mother. Hamilton learns that Jake is leaving and comes too.
Finn tells Will that his scholarship has been disfunded. Will takes off to tell Bella and ends up along the journey with the other three. Later though, there is good news for Will.
Scout and Sean are left in the midst, not knowing where the four have gone off to. The two hitch a ride to find them, inevitably finding out that the four are stranded in a cabin. All characters eventually learn that Jake is a girl.
The last scene is when all the characters take off for their seperate ways.
The Pilot (#YA101)
Will hits it off immediately with his new roommate, Scout Calhoun. Scout comes from a privileged background and a long line of Rawley Academy grads. There's even a Calhoun Hall on campus named after his family. While tooling around town on his bike, Scout scouts out Bella Banks. He introduces himself to her (with a Coke, of course). Bella who's busy washing a truck at her dad's garage where she works, clearly wants Scout but makes fun of him anyway for being a spoiled rich kid. Bella, also a townie, is a lifelong good friend of Will's.
Will admits to Scout that he cheated on his test to get into Rawley. Scout vows to never divulge the secret and pledges to help Will ease his guilt about cheating. Finn, their English teacher and crew coach, overhears them talking about it and he confronts Will.
Meanwhile, Bella and Scout spend some time bonding alone together and she tells him the father she is living with is not her bio-dad. Scout and Bella end up kissing. Later, when Scout shows up at Bella's dad's garage, her dad is none-too-pleased to meet him. He tells Scout he's not welcome around there. Daddy Banks tells them both they have the same father.
Also new at Rawley is Hamilton Fleming. He's the Dean's son, but totally without a Dean-like attitude. Hamilton and Jake Pratt, also a new student, strike up a friendship when Hamilton spots Jake's "illegal" motorcycle. Jake's apparently been to every boarding school on the eastern seaboard, evidently trying to hide her gender. Jake and Hamilton become friends and when gabbing about sex one day, Jake kisses Hamilton. Both freak out, but discuss it later and decide to be friends.
Our Town (#YA102)
Will attempts to live in two worlds. He scrambles between baseball with his townie team and crew with the Rawley team. Will's roomie, Scout, gets on his case for not telling his old Public H.S. buds he's a Rawley guy. Will was keeping his Rawley status a secret from his old friends, fearing he wouldn't make it past the summer session and would be back at his old school before anyone knew he was gone. Eventually, Will gets booted from the baseball team after repeatedly showing up for practice late.
Meanwhile, Scout is mooning all over Bella, even though they're supposedly "just friends" now. Scout gets a job at the diner across the street from Bella's father's garage, claiming he needs to learn a work ethic. At the diner he has a few run-ins with the locals, and Will, who also works there, helps him out.
Trouble erupts when Scout tags along with Will to a townie party. Once there, Scout's Bella radar picks up her signal and soon he's got her cornered. He tells her he plans to tell his father (allegedly also her father) about her. She discourages him from doing so and they have a mini-tiff. Will and Bella's townie friends mistake the discussion for harassment and the move in to defend Bella. A brawl breaks out but Will and Bella break it up. Bella patches Scout's lip back in his dorm room. It takes Will longer to patch things up with his old buddies.
Elsewhere: After checking herself out in the mirror to see if her strap-in thing was successfully hiding her femaleness (in front of a half-open door...
duh!), Hamilton nearly discovers her. Hamilton didn't see anything, and just came by to tell her he's not gay, despite the kiss they shared last week. Later the two go on a
hi-jinx to recover her motorcycle from campus security.
Kiss and Tell (#YA103)
The feminine balance is thrown off with the arrival of Paige Bennett (guest star Cyndi Johnson), a beautiful, sophisticated new student at Rawley Girls Academy who Bella likes in spite of herself. Paige is unabashedly in romantic pursuit of Scout. After a Paige and Scout date and some jealous back-and-forth between Bella and Scout, Scout tells Bella that he actually has a crush on Paige — obviously attempting to put a sort of barrier between them to destroy their painful attraction to each other.
Meanwhile, Will has a run-in with a trouble-making upperclassman, Ryder Forrest (guest star Charles Hunnam). Will and Ryder spy Finn in an embrace with the dean's wife. While Ryder seeks to spread the gossip through a video tape, Will attempts to stop him. When the video tape ends up in the Dean's office, Will breaks into it to steal the tape and protect Finn. Will gets caught and receives a stern reprimand from Finn, who doesn't know that Will did it to protect him. After a blow-out, Finn sees that his hooking up with the dean's wife is causing moral dilemmas for more than just himself.
Also, Hamilton and Jake find themselves in a confusing competition over a would-be student at Rawley Girls Academy. The girl, who is much more interested in Jake, makes a pass, but Jake tells her that there's "someone else."
Cinderbella (#YA104)
It's Rawley Summer Cotillion time -- just in time for Will to purse the girl of his dreams. It's Caroline Busse (guest star Michelle Monoghan) and he falls for her when he sees her walking across campus. Of course Will's roommate Scout knows her from the playgrounds of the rich and famous. Scout gives him the lowdown on her (including a detailed description of the bikini she wore at St. Bart's). Even though Will thinks she out of his league, Scout convinces him to ask her to the Cotillion. He attempts to, but she already has a date.
In need of a date for the dance so he can continue his pursuit of Caroline, Will coaxes Bella to go with him. Paige squeezes an invite out of Scout. Jake and Hamilton share yet another awkward moment when they both agree to go "stag" to the dance.
At the Cotillion, Bella makes a stunning entrance wearing her mother's old gown. As per usual, Scout cannot keep his eyes off of her. Hamilton and Jake arrive at the dance separately, but Hamilton decides to seize the moment and confront Jake. In the men's room they share a passionate kiss. Hamilton freaks, but Jake says not to panic because she's a girl. She rips open her tux to show him her naturally-filled black bra. Hamilton storms off.
At the dance, Bella runs into her naughty younger sister who is supposed to be at home for the arrival of the gas truck at midnight. It's 11:55.(Get the whole Cinderella thing?) Bella races around looking for Will, who has been impressing Caroline with his mysterious knowledge of her. Bella interrupts them and says she has to leave the dance. Will runs off after her, dropping his wallet. They get to the gas station just as the truck is leaving. However, Bella's boyfriend Sean saw the truck and signed for the gas, saving the night. He, in his adorable red baseball uniform, dances with Bella as she sings in the street.
Caroline is waiting back at Will's room and she confronts him for lying about his being a townie (she found that out from his wallet). Hamilton visits Jake's room and the kiss again.
Winning Isn't Everything (#YA105)
It's the Rawley Regatta weekend, and the parents are coming to town. It's panic time for Jake; her mother is coming to visit under the belief that Jake is at Rawley girls. She explains to Hamilton the whole reason she's at Rawley Boys is to shock her mother into paying some attention to her.
Scout Dad, Senator Calhoun, is coming to his alma mater to see Scout and the the crew team win the Regatta. Scout tries to convince Bella to meet "their" father. Bella is reluctant, saying she already has a father. Later, after talking it over with Will, she decides to meet the senator after all.
Will and his Mom argue over why Will's icy and unsupportive father will not be attending the Regatta. She tells him it's because his father doesn't know how to express his feelings.
Jake has decided to fake that she's at Rawley Girls and models her new pink duds for Hamilton. Her self-centered, actress Mom shows up. She totally buys into Jacqueline's (Jake's girl name) ruse. However, the plan starts to crack when Mom wants a tour of her dorm room. Hamilton rescues the situation by showing up to give them a tour of the campus. Jake's fake is almost busted again when she has to be at the Rawley girl's luncheon at the same time as the crew team's practice. Hamilton comes to the rescue again. Jake breaks away from lunch while Mom's on the cell phone and hops in a speed boat piloted by Hamilton, and changes clothes in the back on the way to the race. He motors her back after practice in the nick of time.
Just before the final Regatta race, Scout confronts his Dad about Bella. He asks him whether he remembers a woman named Donna who fathered a daughter. Senator Calhoun says there were lots of girls in his life back then. He tells Scout, this girl (Bella) is probably faking her identity in order to claim the Calhoun family name.
Bella shows up to the race. Scout finds her and tells her today is not a good day to meet her father. He yammers on about it being an election year and the news of an illegitimate daughter could hurt his campaign. She agrees, but is visibly disappointed.
The Rawley team wins the race. After their photos are taken, Will sees that his father had been watching all along. He tries to go to him, but his father dashes off.
Scout tells his father he was right about that girl (Bella.) She wasn't his daughter — she was lying. Later, Bella waits on Sen. Calhoun at the gas station but says nothing.
